Chapter 40 Always Surprised

  • "What did you say?" Olivia asked stunned. Glenn glanced at her and immediately noticed her facial expression, she looked scared and curiously waiting for him to repeat the name. "She said and I quote that I should tell who so ever that Ursula Day paid me a visit," Glenn repeated. Olivia sat in her seat frozen, never in her life did she ever think she was going to hear that name again. "What does she look like? Did you see her face clearly?" Olivia asked staring at him, she couldn't hide how scared and disturbed she was, even if she tried to her trembling voice would definitely betray her.
  • "Do you know?" Glenn asked. "Call the tech team and ask them to send you the CCTV footage of your office, I need to see what she looks like," Olivia said totally ignoring Glenn. "Okay, but that did not in any way answer my questions," Glenn said but Olivia didn't say a word to him. "Look Mother, you need to tell who this woman is and what her deal is with our family, only then would I know how best to deal with her," Glenn added. "Just do what I asked you to do, and tighten your security, I don't want her coming close to you until I say so," Olivia ordered. "Mum..." "It was not a request Glenn, it's an order, just leave this to me, do you understand?" Olivia asked and Glenn nodded his head, he didn't need to push it since he had his own perfect way of getting his answers. Olivia exhaled deeply shooting him a worrisome look which was enough to tell Glenn that whatever was wrong between his mother and this Ursula Day was really deep. "I'm going to be fine mom, you don't have to worry about me," Glenn said assuring her. Olivia wanted to persuade him to spend the night at her villa but she knew Glenn would never agree to that. "Just don't die before I do," Olivia said before alighting from the car. Glenn watched her ever before he drove out and headed for his house.
  • "Ursula Day, that is a very interesting name," Glenn said as he poured himself a glass of wine, he took a sip and smiled before he dialled a private number on his phone. "Good evening Sir," a female voice said over the phone. "I need every detail regarding Ursula Day on my desk, first thing tomorrow morning," Glenn said and quickly ended the call without waiting to know if the lady at the receiving end heard him. "I'm going to kill her before she thinks of killing me," He scoffed.
