Chapter 23 The Pool-Party A

• Xiomara sat down in her office and quickly reached for her phone, she checked the WhatsApp group chat and saw the message Whitney had posted "Color Code, black and white, don't dress outside the colour code" Xiomara smirked, even if she was to attend the pool party she would definitely create a remarkable entrance for her self by dressing outside the colour code.
• She scrolled down the group reading everyone's message, they all seemed excited and had plans of attending the party. Xiomara thought for a while, she didn't want to attend the party because she wasn't yet ready to meet any of her classmates and was ready she was going to have her panic attack which started after the prom night incident but then attending the party would help her mark out her plans and would also help her dictate who was for her or against her. She smiled making up her mind she was going to attend it but she won't be keeping the dress code rules. Since Morris has agreed to give her two days off even before she asked for it, she was going to be making good use of it.
• After the day's job, she headed to the patrol police station to get her car released but on getting there, she meet Morris who had come for the same reason as her. "I told you not to worry that I would take care of it myself," Morris said immediately after he saw her, Xiomara smiled "And I remember saying that I appreciate your help but I don't need it," Xiomara said politely, Morris was still her boss after all even if he was wooing her.
