Chapter 87 Healthy Babies, Happy Daddies
- [Agatha’s POV]
- Everything is pitch black. I hear voices and distinct chatter, but I don’t understand what they say. I have a terrible headache, my right hand is itchy, and everything smells like antiseptic. I tried to open my eyes, but when I did, bright light assaulted my pupils. I raise my hand to shield my eyes from too much light. At the same time, I hear a few sets of footsteps rushing toward me. A gentle hand firmly holds mine down, stretching it along the soft bedding.
- “You’re awake, princess!” a familiar voice whisper-yelled next to my ear. “You can open your eyes now,” she added. When my eyes fluttered open, I saw something a few inches above my head, covering my eyes from the brightness of the fluorescent light; it was a medical chart. I scanned the place, and a faint smile escaped my lips. My gaze found its way to my Mom and Aunt Hazel. They were looking at me with identical expressions on their faces.
