Chapter 10 Rejection
- The next morning, Laura woke up to the bright sun streaming in, filtered by the two layers of curtains inside Nathan’s bedroom. A cold breeze was blowing from the east, giving her chills.
- She looked around with a satisfied grin. She scanned the surroundings. Although she had been in this room quite a few times, this was the first time she had stayed the night.
- The room walls were painted in delicate beige, giving it a light, relaxing vibe. The doors and window frames are toned in dark brown, matching the mahogany-stained wardrobe and bedside tables. A vintage chest of drawers is just outside the bathroom door, with a floor-length mirror on its left.
