Chapter 36 Knocked Down

• My emotions are all over the place. I am worried about Nico and the guys. Those cloaked men took them before me, but I don’t know where they took them. I feel like I need to run away and flee from this place, wherever this is. The feeling of dread and apocalypse is looming over my entire body. I am stuck in the void, detached from the world. Not that I have many friends or family to miss me, but not like this.
• They took away the tiniest freedom I had. Now I’m like a caged pig getting readied for slaughter by eating and sleeping. Although the slaughter is inevitable, at least the pig is never alone during its final days.
