Chapter 40 Teleported

• I watched as Sebastian and Nathaniel stepped into my room. I followed them and called on Sebastian, but he did not hear me. They went to every room as if they were looking for something or someone. Their mouths moved, and I could see they were talking to each other, with the occasional glance they threw at each other….. But why didn’t I hear anything? Why can’t they see me?
• Baltazar said this is the headquarters of the Phoenicia Covenant, so what are my two Alphas doing here? Are they a part of the covenant, too? NO! They can’t be. Sebastian is an Alpha, and they are both Alphas. I did not sense any magical powers from Sebastian. It can’t be it. I followed them through floor by floor, door by door. I can see a mixture of excitement, anticipation, and fear in Sebastian’s face with each door they unlock. Then, disappointment. Meanwhile, Nathaniel shows nothing but indifference.
