• Two middle-aged women stepped into Nate’s suite with Elaine. They looked… tired and pale, disheveled, and confused. I nodded at them and smiled modestly, knowing precisely who they were. I assumed that the older-looking version of Agatha was her mother.
• “You must be Agatha’s mom and aunt?” It came out as a question rather than a statement, and they nodded in unison. Elaine came forward and introduced them to me, “Seb, this is Glinda, Agatha’s mom, and Hazel, her aunt. " She pointed at the two women, one at a time. I gave them a faint smile. “Glinda, this is Sebastian, Herod Black’s son. He is one of Agatha’s mates,” Elaine continued with the introduction.
