Chapter 76 What's Your Plan, Nico?

• “What are you talking about, Dad?” Nico grumpily asked his father, his face darkened and his jaws clenched. He was sitting on his chair inside the Alpha’s office. He recently took over the position of the head Alpha in the Midnight Pack after he returned home, and it was swift and uneventful. The last thing he wanted was to capture unnecessary attention from the neighboring packs who had heard of his banishment a few years ago. He knew better that earning their respect would take more than merely rising to the position. He was a rogue, after all.

I received a call five days ago, and you have to take a few of your trusted men tonight to the River Bed Pack to help the Phoenicia Covenant wipe out the warriors of the pack. They will surely try to stop them from completing their job, and our assistance will earn us the pack. They will deal with the current Alpha, that was the deal,” he said as he shrugged his shoulders. Remus, Nico’s father, turned around to leave when Nico’s voice stopped his movement.
