Chapter 38 Dreams and Nightmares

• Gavin woke up freaking out as he counted his siblings, all of his sisters and two other brothers were right next to him. Since their mother had left to fight, and though, he missed his mother; he knew that she was doing this for the greater good. His hope was that she was going to help their daddy and rescue the others; but it was his dream that made him shudder. He took out three packets and began setting up his siblings meal. Doctor Merisha had managed to make synthetic blood that would last till the dome was destroyed. Gavin set up the botttles and then he got out three more before he sucked on the blood packet till it was empty like he was. For the last few weeks, the dark clouds had came and gone but never entered the dome, but the last couple of days, there had been no dark clouds. There had been times he could hear his mother and she would let him know that everything was okay. Once his siblings were up and after tehy had fed and he had cleaned them up; they went outside. Though his mother had given birth to the triplets, they were already crawling. Vampires children grew up quickly till they hit the age fifteen. He pressed his head against the barrier and though he felt the energy radiating through him, it didn't bother him like it did the others.

• Gavin knew it was Friedrich that was standing not too far from him and the younger children loved being around Friedrich but Gavin missed his father very much and at the moment he didn't want to say much of everything. He had been dreaming of his father's death and Gavin was praying that it was true that his mother would get there in time.
