Chapter 28 THE ESCAPE

• Asher had the ride ready for those in the mansion to get into, so they could leave Maine and head to Artica. already many of the agents were trying to get as many humans as possible and other innocent lives to safety. Few of the hospitals were able to get many of the patients that were ranging from the babies and those who would survive the trip; while others who may not have the chance to make it were left behind. Many states were given the alert along with other countries. A count down was given, but there weren't enough rides to the transportation for safety. Those who were not able to get to get to boats were given word to head to the military bases where they may stand a chance. Others stayed home or went with families and others believing it was the end times were in churches or savoring what they believed was their final moments on earth. Many of the government officials were called to the meet with the courts of the creatures, trying to understand what was going on. Ariel knew they did the best they could, given the circumstances. Einar and Esmeralda were leading their teams with Arran and Elena's group; towards the back of the ship Ariel and her company and family were huddled together. Asher led everyone to the safety of the ship. Daved picked up his children and carried them over to the bunks where he could keep an eye on them. Both Viktor and Helene saw Dave for the first time in years and then they looked towards their mother and the Lycan they called father, "Is that our real father?"
• Elena looked at her twins and then at her other children she had with Arran, named Alex and Siannon were both just turning six years old. Her twins Viktor and Helene were now sixteen years old. Viktor was taller than his mother and his sister was the same height as their mother. they were waiting for their mother to finally respond, and she took a deep breath, "Yes. That is your real father. Don't go over there, okay. I still don't trust him, and I don't want him involved in your lives."
