Chapter 22 SIX MONTHS PRIOR

• Ariel Castle drove to her contact that was three hours' drive away. She finally arrived at the location as agreed upon. In the human society she was an officer of the law however when it came to the underworld that human government knew about but ignored as long as creatures didn't draw attention to themselves, they would ignore the existence. She was a bounty hunter that went after criminals that the vampire or Lycan courts had put a bounty on. She came to the designated building where she was to meet an agent of the courts. Friedrich was there with folders when he saw Ariel coming towards him. She was wearing jeans and white shirt with a blazer and black boots.
