Chapter 2

• Elena waking up at five in the morning to get ahead of her chores considering she had class later. She had breakfast started right when the servants were walking in. she had breakfast for them and started breakfast for the whelps and then for the other pack members. Class was at ten and she didn't want to run late. She did the lunches for all the youngsters and then wrote notes for the adults in the pack. Every adult had a job whether it was business or trade; everyone had a job. The soldiers were coming back from drill and she had their food lined up at the buffet along with coffee and juice and milk. She looked at he watch still on time when the general came in with his captains and she almost smacked into him.

• The captain reported back to his General Dave and the Alpha Stephen who were discussing business matters with the counsel for the pack. Dave got up and went over to the captain, "How did she do?"
• "She did better than some of our own soldiers. If she was full blooded, she would make some of the guys look bad. Sure, she wasn't meant to be a soldier?"

• Dave went back to the meeting room and Stephen looked at him then returning back to the meeting. After the meeting Stephen waited for everyone to leave until he and his brother were alone.

• "Elena learned the course quicker than any other of soldiers. Apparently, she is more like her mother."
• "So, either do we sell her or we keep her here? She thinks in six months she would be allowed to leave here but that isn't going to happen. I do have buyers wanting her but because she isn't considered fully part of this pack. The deals aren't going through."
