Chapter 24 ON THE ROAD AGAIN

• Ariel had checked the van like she did whenever she was on the hunt and knew they would find a tracker that was built in. Of course, the van had a tracker, so Dave drove hundred miles where Ariel quickly found a king cab truck. She knew about vehicles because her father had her learn everything from cars to diesel engines, not mention other things, while she was growing up. Plus, she kept up to speed with the times. by right she should kill them, but they also saved her life, and they were better off helping each other out. She was betrayed by those her father had sworn to help and now she had no one but those that gathered in the king cab. Funny how things worked out, seriously this was all a nightmare to her but if she wanted to live, she needed to have back up. Her father did things on his own and it got him killed. The truck was up and running and she was behind the driver seat because she knew the way. Three days of driving and they finally arrived at a hanger, and she smiled, "Waylan! Hey Waylan wake up old man."
• Waylan getting up and smiling at Ariel, "I heard you were taken."
• "You don't even want to know. You were right about the courts Waylan."
