Chapter 30 A New World Order

• Burnsville and the other domes societies were alienated from what was going on in the rest of the world. Just in two months major cities were already destroyed and rebel forces were trying to lead many more civilians out of the hidden places to safety. Though Elites were doing their best there were still many creatures who were still being released to hunt down allied forces who the enemies of Stephen and his forces. Humans who were captured were being hauled off in droves in box carts, women and children were branded with iron with numbers as the men and young teens were forced to work at camps and those who were not able to work were food for the ghouls and other mindless creatures that the serum hadn't worn off yet. The Courts were cut off as Lycans were in an uproar that secret deals were made behind their backs and the Order had many vampires arguing back and forth. The chaos was growing and there had yet to be a true leader as many wanted to gain control and others were not delegating trying to find some order. The humans who had been rescued feared they would be attacked but they had been sent to Antarctica to the safe houses until order could be obtained.

• Ariel was on her own along with her children as she returned back to the Isle. She didn't know why she had returned back to the place of her youth, but something called to her as the world around her was destroying itself. Down into the basement where her mother use to train even though many knew her mother was one of the best warriors but something there brought her mother peace. Gavin holding his sisters as he followed his mother through the darkness as she felt along the walls. She just didn't know what she had been looking for until her hand pressed the loosen wall. The wall sliding aside then she bent down and picked up her children as the wall behind them closed. Her eyes lit up as did her children till the area was no longer a room but a tunnel leading to depths where most would not want to venture. Ariel set her children down as pain struck her and she knew it was nearly time for her to give birth. She found a room where she made a fire for her children to sit near as she went on looking further into the caves until she was brought down to her knees. She gritted her teeth as she crawled into a small space hoping her children couldn't hear her as she began pushing. By right she should have already had made her way back to the base in the Artic but after reading her father's notes she knew she had to return back to the Isle and find what her mother had left behind. She pressed her feet against the wall and began to push again and taking a deep breath she again pushed and then she heard her baby cry. She quickly pulled off her shirt wrapped her newborn baby in the shirt cleaning her little girl up. She thought her daughter was the only one but two hours later she held her two newborn sons and their older little sister. they were smaller than Layla and Odette but that would soon change. She returned to her three older children who babies themselves. Though she was exhausted she knew they too would need to feed. She went through her bag and grabbing the last three blood bags she had. She looked over at Gavin, "Son, feed yourself but first feed Layla and Odette. I am going to feed your new brothers and sister and the last bag for when you all are hungry again. I am going to hunt and bring you all back something fresh."
