Chapter 29 THE DOMES HAVE RISEN

• The night of the twenty-sixth of March, Allison went to bed not a care in the world. Tomorrow, she and her friends were going on Spring break. Martin and the other guys had left two days ago and were getting everything ready for the week break before going back to college. The humans didn't know there was a war erupting and they didn't know that the human race was being put in the middle of it all. Only certain parts of the country were being escorted off so that a working government could survive. Dave and the others were being sent out to try and save as many humans as possible, before creatures were released to annihilate civilization and bringing back the ancient ways that made humans slaves to creatures. No, Allison closed her eyes and feeling safe in her family's home on the farm. It was five in the morning as few of the people of Burnsville, Tennessee was just waking up. Sheriff Nathan Meyer was being awaken by a phone call as someone was crying hysterical about explosion that was right outside their home only, they couldn't get to their barn. Nathan Meyer just recently came to the town of Burnsville a little over two years ago and being only thirty-two years of age, he was considered an outsider but had earned most of the people's respect. He drove out wasn't paying attention when he caught sight of people waving their hands and he stopped just in time to see half of some steers who were cut into halves. The farmer and two of his sons were on the waving and he couldn't make out what they were saying as he jogged up to where the other halves of the steers were laying and wasn't paying attention, and he ran smacked his face into the barrier that felt like glass. He sat back up and tried shaking off the dizziness when the farmer's wife, Tami knelt down beside him.
