Chapter 88 La'er Mind Ii

• Priestess Yen and priestess Mary agreed to venture back into La’er’s head and mind, and the three of them went back. This time inside La’er’s head and mind, priestess Yen, Rein, and Priestess Mary encounter a maze set up by La’er’s memories that almost killed them but they were saved by Prince Rahde who pulls them out before they get killed inside the maze. Priestess Yen, priestess Mary, and Rein ventured into La’er’s mind and head several times but the three of them never got to see the memories of La’er’s origin and almost lost their lives to the memories of La’er who always tried to kill them if not for Prince Rahde who always pulled them of La’er's head and mind by severing the magical connection between them and La’er. After trying many times which almost ended up in them losing their lives, priestess Mary, priestess Yen, and Rein gave up on finding La’er’s origin but still they had to find a way to wake La’er up after they failed many times. Priestess Yen, Prince Rahde, priestess Mary, and Rein were all seated inside the room separately as they all thought about what they could do to wake La’er up while La’er remained in that same position unconscious. After much thinking, Rein said “I think La’er must have been trapped in one of her memories”. “Is that even possible?” asked Priestess Yen. “Yes. We aren’t the only ones who went into her memories but her too. We might not see her and that is because the path we took was different. It was her memories so her path has got to be different from ours but she is right there in her memories. Trapped just like Rein said” said priestess Mary. “If she is trapped then find a way to release her and bring her back” said Prince Rahde to the three of them. “To do that means we have to go into La’er’s memories again and find her but we can’t. You saw what happened. We will be killed” said Rein to Prince Rahde. “Then let me go” said Prince Rahde. “You should know I would never allow that. If those memories can try to kill us they will make no exception for you. They will try to kill you” said priestess Mary to Prince Rahde. “You said it yourself. Those memories only tried to kill the three of you because they are pissed at Rein and Yen but that is not the case when it comes to me. Rein and Yen had hurt La’er but I have never done that. And the fact is that, La’er is in love with me which means every piece of her is in love with me. If I go into La’er’s head and mind, I will be safer than any of you” said Prince Rahde to the three of them. Priestess Yen, Rein, and priestess Mary reason what Prince Rahde said to be right and they all decided to go into La’er’s mind and head once again but with Prince Rahde this time. Going with Prince Rahde into La’er’s head and mind means there will be no one that would look after them while they are inside La’er’s head and mind or pull them out to save them by severing the link but still they were ready to risk that. Prince Rahde, priestess Yen, Rein, and priestess Mary get connected to La’er’s mind and head and they all venture into La’er’s mind and head. Prince Rahde, priestess Yen, Rein, and priestess Mary opened their eyes in La’er’s head and mind to see themselves holding a sword each and they were all inside a very big cage. Seeing the swords in their hands and inside the very big cage they were made priestess Mary, Rein, priestess Yen, and Prince Rahde got scared and worried as they wondered what was going on. Just then, the four of them suddenly saw themselves surrounded by many La’ers who were also holding a sword each then a La’er who seemed to be the one leading moved closer to priestess Mary, priestess Yen, Rein, and Prince Rahde and said to them “didn’t think you were all going to come back after all you have faced here? You all are kind of brave”. Priestess Yen, priestess Mary, Rein, and Prince Rahde gave no response and remained anxious then the leading La’er said to them again “I see you even brought Rahde with you. Do you think bringing Rahde here would save you from your death? If you thought that you were all wrong. Rahde is the reason why you are all in this cage and holding a sword each. I know you might be confused about what is going on so let me make it clear. We will be giving you all a chance because of Rahde and the chance is that you all have to fight your way out of here. Which means you will have to fight all of us to get out of their cage and proceed forward”. Priestess Yen, Rein, and priestess Mary got scared upon hearing that while Prince Rahde smirked and said to the leading La’er “you want us to fight all of you to get out of this cage and proceed forward?”. “Yes. That is the only way to survive since there will be no one to save any one of you this time” said the leading La’er to Prince Rahde. Prince Rahde dropped the sword and that got priestess Mary, priestess Yen, and Rein confused then Prince Rahde said to the leading La’er “I am sorry if that is what you want. I will not ever nor can I fight La’er, and that involves all the version of La’er”. The leading La’er smiled and said to Prince Rahde “then you want to die. All the La’ers you are seeing here are La’ers that don’t care about you or anyone. They are all La’er vengeance. All these La’ers are the La’ers that have lived in a world of wars and battles. A world any of you can never even think of. A world where your mothers had never even been born. Do you think coming here because La’er loves you can keep you safe? No. Those La’ers that can help you are asleep and the one you are here to find is lost in her own memories. We can never be asleep because we know what is at stake if we sleep. If you want to survive pick up your sword and fight. After all, you made them jealous since La’er taught you our skills “. “I don’t care about anything you say. I will not pick this sword nor will I fight any La’ers. I want to see the true La’er so I will get out of here and find here” said Prince Rahde to the leading La’er. “Okay. If you want to die then so be it. I warn you though and no magic though while fighting. And if you think these La’er wouldn’t attack you then find out” said the leading La’er to Prince Rahde. Prince Rahde didn’t think the La’ers were truly going to attack him so he refused to pick the sword but Priestess Yen, priestess Mary, and Rein prepared to fight even though they were worried that no one would save them. The leading La’er was the first to attack Prince Rahde and Prince Rahde had no choice but to pick up the sword and fight back after understanding the situation. Priestess Mary, priestess Yen, and Rein also fight the La’ers who attacked them.
