Chapter 6 Head King Decision

• Everyone became shocked, anxious, and terrified, and got on their feet upon hearing the news from the military messenger. King Zuch hurriedly and worriedly asked the messenger “how is the situation in Vraklin right now?”.
• “They were attacked unaware but the army of Vraklin is holding off the Arkians right now with the help of the great wall“ said the messenger.
• “But the scouts said that the Arkians hadn’t made any movement to attack us because they are just coming out of the portal” assistant General Suci asked the messenger.
• “That is the message the scouts give but how the Arkians come to suddenly attack Vraklin without any heads up from the scouts remained a mystery” said the messenger.
• “What the hell is really going on right now?” said King Rahim anxiously.
• “It has begun. It has started and we all have to be prepared” said Queen Rebeca silently, worriedly.
• “How come the Arkians were able to get to Vraklin kingdom in just a short while? We all know getting to Vraklin from the portal takes two days. How could the scouts have missed that?” said King Hartley worriedly.
• “I don’t think the scouts miss anything, your royal majesty. Just like I have said, the Arkians have gotten smarter” said head General Ben.
• “So what do you think happened?” King Neur asked head General Ben.
• “There is no way there could have been any movement from the Arkians and the scouts wouldn’t know about it. For that to happen means, that the Arkians that attacked Vraklin had arrived earlier before the arrival of the Arkians that arrived today. I think the Arkians that attacked Vraklin had secretly arrived two days ago which was an off day for the scouts. That is to confirm that the Arkians had also learned about us” said head General Ben.
• Everyone reasons what the great General said to be logical. King Jeff said “that could have been what truly happened. We need to make a decision fast about what should be done concerning the Arkains”.
• Head General Ben faced King Hartley and said to King Hartley “we are at war, your royal majesty, and you need your warriors. Command me, your royal majesty, and I will set out immediately to go help Vraklin kingdom and gather the warriors to go defeat the other Arkains and save our world”.
• “You can’t make such a decision, your royal majesty. To keep everyone safe, we all need to remain behind the great walls” said Queen Rebeca to King Hartley.
• “Do not let the priestess's decision dissuade you from making the right decision, your royal majesty. Command me and I will return victorious” said head General Ben to King Hartley.
• It turns into an argument between Queen Rebeca and head General Ben as they both implore King Hartley to listen to both of them, but King Hartley can only agree to one decision. The argument didn’t stop between the head Queen and the great general but spread to everyone in the hall to make King Hartley decide whether to stay behind the great walls as requested by the priestess or fight openly against the Arkains as requested by the great General, except Prince Ranork and Ragon that was just watching everyone.
• While everyone in the hall was arguing, King Hartley thought about what would be the best decision for him to make concerning the safety of the kingdoms. When King Hartley was through with his thoughts, he shut up everyone in the hall and made sure they all knew their places.
• They all apologize to King Hartley and King Hartley said to everyone “I have made my decision and you will all abide by it. As always, we have always fought behind the great walls and won but now, the Arkains have become stronger and they have to learn how to fear us. As soon as possible, the great General will gather the army in Arcadian and go to Vraklin to help them defeat the Arkains with King Zuch”.
• Queen Rebeca was not happy with King Hartley's decision and wanted to talk to King Hartley but King Hartley stopped her and continued with his order “All the Kings are to return their kingdom tonight to gather their army. If the great General succeeds in defeating the Arkains in Vraklin, every other kingdom's army is to join hands with him, and together they are to attack and defeat the Arkians”.
• “Yes, your royal majesty” said everyone in the hall, and King Hartley dismissed the meeting.
• Not everyone agreed with King Hartley's decision but they all have no choice but to listen and obey his order.
• Queen Rebeca wanted to talk to King Hartley after the meeting was dismissed but King Hartley didn’t allow her telling her he was busy while the head General Ben, Prince Ranork, Prince Ragon, assistant General Suci, and the other Generals left to get ready.
• Assistant General Suci and Prince Ragon were fully dressed in their armor holding their sword (in their sheaths) as they both stood in front of Prince Ranork’s chamber, waiting for him to be done and come out so they could join the army.
• Prince Ranork comes out of his chamber fully dressed in his armor, holding his sword in its sheath in his hand. Prince Ranork joined assistant General Suci and Prince Ragon, and they were all about to leave when they saw Queen Rebeca, Princess Aris, the guards, and her maids coming. Seeing Queen Rebeca, the two princes and assistant General Suci stopped, and Queen Rebeca, Princess Aris, the guards, and the maids walked toward them.
• Queen Rebeca, Princess Aris, the guards, and the maids stopped in front of the two princes and assistant General Suci, and then Queen Rebeca asked Prince Ranork “where did you think you are going, son?”.
• “To battle, Mother” said Prince Ranork to Queen Rebeca.
• “You are going nowhere, son, because I forbid that. Not only you Ranork, but you and Ragon” said Queen Rebeca to Prince Ranork.
• The two princes were surprised to hear Queen Rebeca say that but assistant General Suci understood why Queen Rebeca didn’t want them to join the expedition. Prince Ranork asked Queen Rebeca “what are you talking about, your royal majesty?”.
• “You both are going nowhere” said Queen Rebeca to the two princes.
• Prince Ranork said with a smirk to Queen Rebeca “that can not be possible, Mother. We have to join the battle. You do not have the authority to stop us”.
• “Yes, your royal majesty. It has always been our dream to be a warrior and without fighting the Arkains one can never truly be a warrior. You can not stop us from going” said Prince Ragon to Queen Rebeca.
• “It seems you boys don’t know anything. Ben is leading all the armies to their death so how was I supposed to let you both go” said Queen Rebeca to the two princes.
• “That is not possible. Uncle wouldn't do such. We will be victorious against the Arkains. And even if it is to our death, I will rather die in battle than stay in here in Arcadian like a coward” said Prince Ranork to Queen Rebeca.
• “No one is listening to me forgetting I am the priestess. Well, if no one is ready to listen I will protect what is mine” said Queen Rebeca, and then Queen Rebeca called “Guards”.
• The guards surround the two princes, take their swords from them, and hold them down. The two princes were surprised by what was happening and commanded the guards to let them go but the guards didn’t. Prince Ragon said to Queen Rebeca “you can not do this, your royal majesty”.
• “I can do anything I want as long as I am the head Queen” said Queen Rebeca to the two princes.
• The two princes tried to free themselves from the guards but they couldn’t. Prince Ranork looked at assistant General Suci and said to him “You can’t allow Mother to do this, uncle”.
• “I am sorry, your royal highnesses. There is nothing I can do” said assistant General Suci to the two princes, and the two princes couldn’t believe what the assistant General said.
• Assistant General Suci moved closer to Queen Rebeca and Queen Rebeca placed her hands on his cheeks saying to him “I am sorry. There is nothing I could do concerning you”.
• Assistant General Suci said with a smile to Queen Rebeca “It is fine, big sis. If I don’t go I would only be seen as a coward”
• “Be safe, little bother” said Queen Rebeca to assistant General Suci, and then the head Queen kissed assistant General Suci's forehead.
• Queen Rebeca let go of assistant General Suci's cheeks and he said to the two princes “Don’t worry, I will protect the great General”, and then left.
• The two princes tried to free themselves from the guards as assistant General Suci left while calling his name but they couldn’t nor did assistant General Suci answer them. After assistant General Suci left, Princess Aris said to the two princes “you both should stop behaving like kids when you are saved from death. It was Father's ordered not to let you both go to battle so no need for the struggle”.
• Prince Ranork and Prince Ragon were surprised to hear that and then Queen Rebeca ordered the guards to take the two princes to their rooms.
• Head General Ben, assistant General Suci, the other generals, and some of the soldiers said their goodbye to King Hartley and the council member of Arcadian before joining the remaining soldiers of Arcadian waiting outside the city but behind the great wall. The other Kings and their councils also said their goodbye to King Hartley before departing to the kingdoms.
• King Zuch and the council that comes with him joined head General Ben, assistant General Suci, and the army of Arcadian, and together they marched to Vraklin to defeat the Arkains while the other kings left to gather their army.
• By sunrise, King Zuch, King Zuch's subjects, head General Ben, assistant General Suci, and the army of Arcadian kingdom got to Vraklin kingdom and saw the Arkains still attacking the great wall of Vraklin. King Zuch and head General Ben lead the army of the Arcadian kingdom to battle to save Vraklin from the Arkians.
• With the help of head General Ben, assistant General Suci, and the army of the Arcadian kingdom, the Vraklin kingdom was able to defeat the Arkains by killing them all with fewer casualties. The news of the victory in Vraklin was spread across the kingdoms and boasted the kingdoms, and at the same time, made everyone happy especially King Hartley so he wouldn’t regret his decision.
