Chapter 1 The Beginning

• “What is peace? I could say no one truly knows what peace is when they have it not until the problems, trouble, disaster, war, monsters, death, suffering and many other disastrous things come knocking. Our people were at peace when they came terrifying and we had to become monsters to stop them.
• Wait, I think I am going too fast with the story. Let me start from the very beginning of everything. How we came to lose everything, had a change of world, and become monsters.
• Before the coming of the great sorcerer, we were called the Arcadian. We lived in peace and harmony but were uncivilized. We lived in huts and had no leader, just living freely under the rules of the other kingdoms but then the great sorcerer came from nowhere and changed everything. The great sorcerer helped our people build a kingdom that had a great city, found us a leader who became our king, and helped us win many battles against other kingdoms that tried to conquer and stop us. The great sorcerer made our people great and our kingdom great that it became the head of the other kingdoms and every other kingdom fell under the Arcadian kingdom.
• For his help and contributions, the great sorcerer was given a title superior to all other titles except the King, and the title is the Priest. The great sorcerer was made the priest and he became the guardian and guide to our people. From the first priest came many other priests that are the descendants of the first priest and they fit in his roles and title.
• During the reign of King Hamad, there was peace and harmony just like it has always been in our world among the kingdoms and people but then hatred and fight broke out among the 7 priests. It was a shock back then that such a thing could happen among the priests and King Hamad tried to stop the hatred and fight since the priests are the face of our kingdom. Truly, no one knows what caused the hatred and fight among the priests until today, and all people know is that the hatred and fight came out of nowhere as they wished each other death.
• There were battles among the priests which led to the death of 5 priests, the priests' families, and many people since the priests are known for their magical powers, and their magical powers were released against each other during the battles but the two 2 most powerful priests survived the battles. Even the two priests ended up battling each other since there was no one powerful enough to stop them.
• During the battle between the two remaining priests, a lot of magical forces were released at each other and they battle each other for a long time. After a long time of battling with each other, a battle that seemed like it wasn’t going to end eventually comes to an end with the two priests losing their lives. Before the two priests died, the people watched a light ascend to the sky while they were fighting, and a few minutes after the priests died the spot in the sky where the light that ascended hit, opened up a portal in the sky.
• King Hamad was so sad and heartbroken about the fight and death of the priests but there was nothing he could do. Since the guardians were dead, our people thought all hope was lost since the priests were the only ones keeping the other kingdoms at bay, but then King Hamad found the only child that survived the battle among the priests. King Hamad took the only living bloodline of the priests under his care so he could grow up to continue the work of his ancestors and become their hope.
• Since King Hamad was the head of all the other kings, the awareness of the portal in the sky where the last two priests fought was brought to him. King Hamad and everyone find the portal in the sky strange and weird and thought it might be caused by the weather, so it will close up in due time. Days and weeks passed, the portal remained in the sky and King Hamad tried to find an answer to the portal and close it but wasn’t able to since the only living bloodline of the great sorcerer was nothing but a child.
• Even though King Hamad didn’t know anything about the portal in the sky, he still had a bad feeling about it and he called the other kings to a meeting where he told them all to raise an army strong enough to be called warriors each. The other kings were shocked by King Hamad's request asking why they were to raise an army that had been disbanded many years each when there was no war or anything they needed to protect themselves from. King Hamad told them he had a bad feeling about the portal in the sky and they should obey his order.
• The other kings obeyed King Hamad and each kingdom raised an army each training them in the warrior way and that was how the army status was returned. Days, months, and years, each kingdom continued to raise and train as many soldiers as they could, and the portal remained in the sky. Those from 17 and above were taken and allowed to join the army.
• Then one day, King Hamad had the only living bloodline of the great sorcerer in his arms playing with him when the child suddenly touched King Hamad's head to reveal to him a vision. Immediately the child touched King Hamad's head, King Hamad saw a vision of what was coming for their world and the only thing that could help them survive and win against what was coming out of the portal, and that made him terrified.
• Seeing what was coming and knowing what was going to help them survive and win against what was coming, King Hamad called a meeting with the other kings and told them to build a wall each (with battlement) higher than nothing they had ever seen or heard in their history that will surround and protect their kingdom.
• The other kings wondered if King Hamad was going crazy after hearing what he said. They thought he ordered them to raise an army and now wall that would surround their kingdom but they have no choice but to obey him and build the wall.
• Months after each kingdom had built a great wall that surrounded their kingdom, unknown creatures that were, strong, terrifying, and horrifying came out of the portal and they attacked the kingdoms killing anything in their way. Those creatures came with the intention and mission to take our world and kill us all so we call them the Arkian.
• With the help of the great wall and the warriors in each kingdom, we were able to defeat the Arkians and protect our homes and people from the Arkians but it never ended there. The Arkians never stop coming out of the portal and they keep attacking every kingdom in huge numbers, savagely and ruthlessly like it was something worth dying for. The warriors and the Kings protect their kingdom and people like their lives depend on it.
• Many lives of the warriors were lost but the remaining never stop fighting for our home. The dead bodies of the Arkians are always thrown underneath the portal in the sky and it is always surprising that a light will descend from the portal and take the bodies back.
• From the first generation that first battled and saw the Arkians to the second, third, fourth, fifth, and to my generation, the Arkians never stop attacking the Kingdoms even though we keep defeating them to protect our home with the help of the great wall.
• Through those generations, we have never faced the Arkians head-on, we have always attacked them from the battlements of the great walls. We also keep growing in number and continue to raise the finest warriors in the way to fight the Arkians to keep us safe and protect us. We also keep learning about the Arkians even though the things we know is the time they come of the portal to attack us, their dead bodies that are being taken back by the portal, they come in different shapes making them different supernatural creatures, their way of attacking us, they kept getting strong after every attack and defeat, and their agenda to eradicate us and take over our world.
• Who or what sends the Arkians to our world and why our world is a main target and wanted or if there is another world remained unknown. Even though we have lost many warriors through generations, it remains every male child's dream to grow up to be a warrior and fight against the Arkians to protect the kingdoms.
• During King Hamad's reign, the only living bloodline of the great sorcerer grew up to be a powerful priest called Holland and he did all his best to close the portal after finding out the portal led to a terrifying world where the Arkians came from but he was never able to. Holland ended up dying without being able to close the portal or find answers to many questions after aiding in many battles against the Arkians going through kingdoms but passed down what he learned about the portal. Holland's bloodline never ends with him, he makes kids that continue the line of the priest. After Holland, all the priests who came after him also joined the battle against the Arkians and they helped every other kingdom.
• In the beginning, it was every male child of a priest that would possess the power of a priest and become a priest but after Holland died, only the first child and last child of a priest would possess the power of a priest whether it is male or female.
• Before my father became King of Arcadian during his father's reign, the Arkians attacked the kingdoms again, and this time they came in the same shape. The Arkians come in one creature looking more horrifying, terrifying, and powerful. Even though they became stronger at that time, the kingdoms won with the help of the great wall, the warriors, and priests but it cost lives as always.
• My grandfather's reign was the last time the Arkians came out of the portal and attacked us and I am waiting impatiently for the Arkians to return since I have trained well and I am ready to battle them.
