Chapter 25 The Making

  • HOURS BEFORE THE BATTLE
  • Assistant General Suci and the soldiers secretly arrived back to the Kingdom in the late morning using the secret passageway of the north and mountain side of the wall, and they went straight to the head King to see him.
  • The soldiers stood outside of the chamber while assistant General Suci went into the head King's chamber and met the head King seated on the bed. Assistant General Suci kneels in front of King Hartley bowing his head to him and saying to him that he returned safely after completing the task. King Hartley helped Assistant General Suci up and hugged him saying to assistant General Suci that he made him proud.
  • King Hartley and assistant General Suci later sat down on the chairs surrounding the table while assistant General Suci explained everything about the place he had found to him.
  • Assistant General Suci's mission was a secret and it had to remain a secret so when King Hartley was done talking with assistant General Suci, King Hartley told him that Princess Aris and the people who would help him and the soldiers set up the place were waiting for them at the secret passage. Assistant General Suci said goodbye to King Hartley and he wanted to go see his family but couldn’t see them because he had an important task at hand so he left with the soldiers, carpenters, and the blacksmiths.
  • Assistant General Suci and the soldiers left the kingdoms secretly with the blacksmiths and carpenters who are friends with Princess Aris who told them that he has huge rewards for them when they get back.
  • King Hartley gave Princess Aris the task to go get him 7 female virgins without telling her the purpose of it and Princess Aris promised her father to get them before the night but still wondered what her father was going to do with them. Even though Princess Aris wondered what her father was going to do with them, she was still going to do what her father asked.
  • Before the blacksmiths and carpenters left with assistant General Suci, Princess Aris used them to find the 7 virgins and told them they must never speak of it to anyone. Once Princess Aris's friends find her the 7 virgins, they bring them to Princess Aris and Princess Aris reveals who she was to the 7 virgina saying to them that she would like to become their friends. The 7 virgins were glad to hear that the Princess wanted to become their friend and quickly accepted Princess Aris, then Princess Aris told the 7 virgins that she would be having a celebration in the palace and they were all invited which they all agreed.
  • Princess Aris organized a fake party in her chamber which all the 7 virgins attended and Princess drugged all the 7 virgins through the wine she gave them making them all fall into deep sleep. After drugging the 7 virgins, Princess Aris went to King Hartley and told him that she had gotten them. King Hartley was happy to hear that and told Princess Aris how much he is proud of her.
  • Princess Aris asked her father what he needed the 7 virgins for and King Hartley replied that “they are going to save the lives of everyone in Arcadian and help build a new nation”.
  • Princess Aris didn’t understand her father's words so she asked what he meant by that but King Hartley told her that she would understand soon. King Hartley told the head guard and some guards to follow Princess Aris to bring the girls to him.
  • Immediately after it was nightfall, the emergency alarm bell rang which signaled that the Arkians were about to attack the great wall again. Before going to the battle, King Hartley called a meeting with the Kings, the princes, the generals, and Princess Aris in a small room. They were all seated in the room and King Hartley said to everyone “there will be a change of army shared right now”.
  • The other Kings, head General Ben, Princess Aris, the other generals, and the princes were confused by what King Hartley meant by what he said. King Kung Lim asked King Hartley “why would they be?”.
  • “At the moment, the two priestesses are occupied with a task so we will be defending the wall without them” said King Hartley.
  • The other Kings and the generals were surprised to hear that except head General Ben, Princess Aris, General Heron, and the princes that had been battling the Arkians without the help of the priestesses.
  • “Why would they be occupied at this moment that we need them? Without them, the 3 sides of the wall will be vulnerable and that is even if the Arkians don’t attack the north side of the wall” said King Zuch to King Hartley.
  • “They are occupied with the task I gave them so we are going to do without them” said King Hartley.
  • “How do we defend the wall without them helping us?” King Rahim asked King Hartley.
  • “We have always defended the wall without them and we will continue to do so” said King Hartley.
  • “Those were different Arkians, not this new Arkians. The new Arkians are more deadly than the ones we have been defending against” said King Jeff to King Hartley.
  • “I understand you all but we have no choice at the moment. If the great General, General Heron, the princes, and the Princess can defend the wall against the Arkians without the help of the priestesses, can't we also do so?” King Hartley asked the other Kings.
  • No one could answer King Hartley then he said “now that three sides of the wall will be having a close physical battle with the Arkians, the soldiers will be reassigned”.
  • “Yes, your royal majesty” said everyone in the room in a union.
  • “The west, east, and south will be taking 300 thousand archers each and the north will be taking the remaining 100 thousand archers. The west, east, and south will also be taking 600 thousand combat soldiers each” said King Hartley.
  • Hearing King Hartley, King Kung Lim said to King Hartley “I just heard you shared all the combat soldiers to three sides of the wall. What about the north side? Won’t you be giving us any combat soldiers?”.
  • “The north side wouldn’t be needing any combat soldiers since they won’t be facing any attack from the Arkians. I only gave you the archers because I don’t want the north battlement to look empty” said King Hartley.
  • “With all due respect, your royal majesty. The Arkians might not have been attacking us because they were waiting for this opportunity. An opportunity whereby we will be the most vulnerable ones because that is what you are going to make us by giving us only the archers. If the Arkians decide to attack us then we are doomed. Don’t also forget they have the Damn Arkians that can also shoot arrows” said General Faruk to King Hartley.
  • “Yes, your royal majesty. The Arkians might attack us if they notice we are the most vulnerable ones” said King Zuch to King Hartley.
  • “And what do you take me for? Do you think I wouldn’t have made plans for that ahead?” said King Hartley to King Zuch and General Faruk.
  • “We are sorry, your royal majesty” said King Zuch and General Faruk in a union.
  • “The Arkians have never attacked the north side of the wall and it was concluded that it was because of the mountain so they have no reason to now. The combat soldiers will be replaced with the recruits on the north battlement since all they will have to do is hold the shields to protect the archers. Is that clear to everyone?” said King Hartley.
  • “Yes, your royal majesty” said everyone in the room in a union.
  • “We must do everything in our power to make sure the Arkians don’t breach the wall” said King Hartley.
  • “Yes, your royal majesty” said everyone in the hall in a union.
  • Then King Duran said to King Hartley “a lot of soldiers are going to lose their lives in this battle”.
  • “I know. Which is why we have to survive till morning. Whatever it is we must make sure, we survived till morning” said King Hartley
  • King Hartley watched as the archers continued to stop the Ram Arkians that were climbing the wall from getting to the west battlement, and at the same time, King Hartley, King Duran, King Rahim, General Dre, and the combat soldiers got ready with their swords unsheathed for the Ram Arkians that would be thrown into the battlement.
  • Even though head General Ben was commanding the archers to be fast when shooting the Ram Arkians climbing the wall so they don’t get to the east battlement, he was ready with the other leaders. Head General Ben, Princess Aris, the princes, General Heron, and the combat soldiers get ready their swords which were unsheathed to attack the Ram Arkians that will be thrown into the east battlement.
  • King Jeff, King Neur, General Baci, and the combat soldiers get their swords unsheathed and ready seeing the Grim Arkians wrapping their tails around the Ram Arkians that would be thrown into the south battlement, while the archers continue to shoot the Ram Arkians climbing the wall from getting to the south battlement.
  • King Kung Lim, King Zuch, General Faruk, the archers, and the recruits get ready for any surprise attacks that might come from the Arkians. Though it looks like the Arkians won’t be attacking the north wall, still they have to be prepared for their attack.
  • Immediately the Ram Arkians got to the west battlement, King Hartley, King Duran, King Rahim, General Dre, and the combat soldiers attacked the Ram Arkians without hesitation and intention of killing them all. Likewise the other leaders and combat soldiers on the east and north sides of the wall. Immediately the Ram Arkians get to the east and south battlements, the leaders lead their combat soldiers to attack the Ram Arkians.
  • While the leaders and army were attacking the Arkians at the great wall, Queen Rebeca and priestess Mary began the preparation of the ritual. There was an outer hidden space in the palace only known to the head King but the head King told the two priestesses about the place and that was where they took the 7 virgins and 3 recruits.
  • The two priestesses told the 3 recruits to kneel in the middle of the 7 virgins who were placed on the ground in a circular form and were still unconscious. The ritual is to begin in the middle of the night when the night will be darker so the two priestesses get the ingredients they will need for the ritual and the spells book.
  • The leaders and combat soldiers defending the east, west, and south sides of the wall against the Arkians fought fiercely and bravely against the Arkians so they didn’t breach the great wall or make it inside the great wall. One needed to become a monster to fight the Arkians, and that was what the leaders and the soldiers became. The leaders and soldiers fought the Arkians crazily and monstrously to defend the Kingdom killing as many Arkians as they could.
  • Immediately it was midnight and the sky became darker, the two priestesses began the ritual, and at that same time, a storm revealed itself in the sky. The ritual began with the two priestesses holding each other hands and chanting the spells out loud before Queen Rebeca suddenly let go of priestess Mary's hands and went to take a knife and a small calabash bowl. Priestesses Mary continue to chant the spells even though Queen Rebeca let go of her hands.
  • After getting the knife and the calabash bowl, Queen Rebeca continued chanting the spells and walked toward the first of the seven virgins with the knife and calabash bowl. Queen Rebeca slit the throne of each of the 7 seven virgins' throats and collected each of their blood into the small calabash bowl, then the 7 virgins died.
  • After collecting the blood of the 7 virgins into the calabash bowl, Queen Rebeca dropped the knife and took the calabash bowl to priestess Mary. Priestess Mary and Queen Rebeca both hold the calabash bowl and begin chanting the spells into the blood.
  • The continuous spells being chanted into the blood in the calabash bowl lasted for a while before the two priestesses stopped chanting and they walked toward the 3 recruits with the calabash bowl. Upon getting to the 3 recruits, the two priestesses told them to drink the blood from the calabash bowl. The 3 recruits drink a little of the blood from the bowl calabash then Queen Rebeca kills the 3 recruits by stabbing them in the heart.
  • The leaders and the combat soldiers were still fighting bravely with all their might to defend the wall without minding what they had become all because they wanted to defend the wall.
  • While the leaders and the combat soldiers were fighting the Ram Arkians on the west, east, and south battlements, the archers in each of the battlements suddenly saw a Damn Arkian each rode its Warf Arkian toward the wall and they tried to stop it with their arrows. Many arrows were shot at the Warf Arkian and the Damn Arkian but none was able to hit the Damn Arkian because it was hitting away the arrows with its sword and the arrows that hit the Warf Akian also didn’t stop the Warf Arkian from going toward the wall cause none of the arrows hit its neck.
  • The Warf Arkian was able to climb the wall and get the Damn Arkian to the east, west, and south battlements even though it got hit by many arrows before the Damn Arkian told his Warf Arkian to return which it did by climbing the wall back down.
  • Seeing the Damn Arkian in the east battlement, the combat soldiers were all afraid to attack it and Princess Aris, Prince Ranork, and Prince Ragon wanted to attack the Damn Arkians but head General Ben told me not to that he will deal with it. Head General Ben knew if anyone was powerful enough to fight the Damn Arkian it has to be him so he attacked the Damn Arkian.
  • Seeing the Damn Arkian in the west battlement, the combat soldiers were all afraid to attack it but then King Hartley didn’t hesitate to attack the Damn Arkian to show the soldiers an example of bravery.
  • Seeing the Damn Arkian in the south battlement, the combat soldiers were all afraid to attack it but then King Jeff and King Neur didn’t hesitate to attack the Damn Arkian.
  • Head General Ben and King Hartley were shocked by the way the Damn Arkian they were fighting fought them because they both had to be defensive with their skills while fighting the Damn Arkian. The Damn Arkian’s skills were so great and he was very fast that the only way the head King and the great General could survive the fight for minutes is to be defensive so they don’t get killed.
  • King Jeff and King Neur were shocked by the Damn Arkian's skills that both of them were not enough to fight the Damn Arkain and being defensive was the only way they don’t get killed.
  • King Jeff, King Neur, King Hartley, and head General Ben that battled each of the Damn Arkian that made it to the east, west, and south battlements were wounded by the Damn Arkians and were about to be killed by the Damn Arkians when they saw a fist of someone each hit the Damn Arkian.
  • The force of the hit was so powerful that it sent each of the Damn Arkian out of the battlements and they all saw it was the recruits.
