Chapter 69 The Lost Child
- King Hartley, head General Ben, the princes, Princess Aris, and assistant General Suci find it hard to believe that General Kara married a fairy, wondering how the union was possible. King Hartley asked La’er “how is it possible that General Kara was able to get married to a Fairy?”.
- La’er took a deep breath and said “way before the kingdoms lived in peace, there was nothing but war and bloodshed amongst the kingdoms in our world and that was when Kara met her and they both fell in love with each other. Her name was Rein and she and Kara met each other in a battle. Rein was known to be the most powerful fairy, way more powerful than priestess Yen. When Kara and Rein fell in love, they had to keep their relationship a secret but it didn’t last long. Later, the kingdoms find out about their relationship, and Kara and Rein were told to break it off, fearing the child they will bear if a fairy and werewolf mate. Kara and Rein pretend to break the relationship but instead, they continue their relationship in secret which leads to Rein getting pregnant.
- When the kingdoms learned of Rein's pregnancy, they got terrified and tried to get her killed with the child but Rein escaped to live in secret, and not even Kara knew where she went. The kingdoms all tried to find Rein but couldn’t, and even the fairy failed because Rein was powerful enough to magically hide herself. A day after Rein gave birth, she made her whereabouts known to Kara and Kara went to see her but unknown to Kara, the kingdoms were watching him, knowing Rein would contact Kara after she gave birth.
