• Maya gently wiggles her nose against Scarlett’s stomach which makes her laugh a little harder and I never really thought about how much a child’s laughter could be so infectious and blissful with the innocence of it. Maya slowly stands up to make sure that Scarlett doesn’t fall over in the snow and glances at me then walks a little ways back again, I’m not sure what Arabella’s plan is for letting Aurora come forward but I do know that she’s not just going to let herself be naked in front of all the kids much less Caspian.
• I go to take my jacket off since I don’t see any extra clothes for Arabella but Maya looks at me and snorts slightly through her nose and jerks her head slightly to not bother taking my jacket off. I’m still confused and Griffin is sitting on the edge of my mind waiting with eagerness so apparently whatever they are doing, they didn’t tell him either, which is odd since those three tell each other everything.
