• Saturday…the day of the ceremony, I don’t know what to expect since Melinda said that mine will probably be nothing like what hers was but I shouldn’t expect to deal with anything negative. I just got to the packhouse with Ryker and I’ve gotten to know a lot of names and thankfully Maya and Aurora don’t forget anything so it’s easy to remember names when they help to remind me. It feels more natural to walk next to Ryker and everyone has been so welcoming to me and I’ve got to personally know a lot of pack members in the short time I have been here.
• I’m carrying everything I need to get ready for the ceremony tonight and as Ryker and I walk into the packhouse I see Jasmine talking to Damon and as soon as she sees me she waves goodbye to Damon, which I can tell hurts his feelings but he gets over it as she reaches me and extends her arms for a hug which I gladly embrace in.
