• Cassidy was avoiding my eyes as soon as I walked into the room and I see that she has a slightly blood tinged bandage around her neck. Damon is leaning against the wall as I walk to the end of the bed trying to see if she’ll say something even remotely close to an apology but after a few awkward minutes of waiting my patience runs thin but I remind myself to keep a level head.
