• I had warned Maya to not get carried away, but I didn’t think I would have to tell her to not be abruptly forward with his wolf, she told me his name was Griffin but that was the only thing she told me. I felt as if they were talking but I couldn’t grasp it, it was almost as if you were trying to hear someone whisper from two rooms away, you can tell someone is talking but you can’t piece the words together. From what I could tell, Griffin was almost more sorry about breaking her leg than Alpha Ryker but that makes sense since it was Griffin who did the breaking, not Alpha Ryker.
• After she rubbed up against him the first time it felt like tingling sensations pulsating through me and it almost took my breath away.
