Chapter 66
- Ryker
- I knew something wasn’t right when she submitted to my reasoning for not telling her about what happened with Brant and Derek so easily, I give her major props for being able to read the room and know that arguing in front of Garret wasn’t the right thing to do, just another reason why she is perfect because her and I were on the same page without having to say one word to each other. If there is one person who needs to know what my weakness is, it needs to be her even though it is her. Saying the word aloud was more difficult than I thought it would be but I really feel like it brought us closer together and made our bond stronger if that’s even possible.
- With all the emotions that her and I let out I felt an almost animalistic need for her, something that I have only felt Griffin exhibit with Maya and Aurora but it was exhilarating and she seemed to enjoy it just as much as me. Her and I are sitting in the dining hall having a late lunch while we wait for Conner and Jackson to come back from looking at the tree, I told him to take as many pictures and videos as necessary, Garret said that spot in the territory has mostly been dead trees since before he took over the pack from his dad.
