• Aurora wasn’t kidding when she said that she was faster than Maya, I was thoroughly impressed with how many times she got ahead of Griffin and Maya was impressed as well. I usually keep out of their conversations but I wanted to hear how Griffin is with them, even though Maya was sitting with me in the back of Aurora’s mind they all could still communicate. He is quite the sweet talker, which is kind of surprising given all that I’ve heard about his reputation around the town to be overly aggressive and quick to bite, although now that I think about it the only time I have seen that side of him is when he first fought Maya and then when he was defending us against Apollo, he knew then that we were his mate.
• Aurora had expressed her concerns about them leaving us behind, I told her that we should probably just let it be but she insisted that he know that we are not okay so they are not under a false pretense that we’re not worried. Griffin said that if it were solely up to him they would never leave but Ryker and him hold a high position in our society and it doesn’t allow for them to stand idly by and do nothing and they have to compromise with each other at times.
