Chapter 53

• It took me almost a full day to recover from her heat and how many times she literally couldn’t restrain herself, I thought that I had a high sex drive, but it was nothing compared to hers that day, and now that it’s the weekend I am finally feeling like I have my full energy back. Arabella is showering upstairs because we are going to my grandmother’s house later today to hopefully get some answers about what happened this last week.
• I hear the shower turn off and after a little while longer Arabella drying her hair, I’m scrolling on my phone looking at emails about requests for pack visits before the snow sets in which is only about a month away when a concerning email shifts my attention. The subject line on it said Requesting Aid, I open the email and am reading the body of the email and it is from one of the packs from the far eastern part of the country. It says that they have pack members who have been disappearing without a trace of any scent and mates are reporting their tethers feeling damaged but not severed. I don’t like the sound of this, I need to talk with Damon and Conner about this, because this cannot just be passed by and hope that nothing else happens or the problem resolves itself.
• “Is everything alright?”
