• I’m walking into my house and it’s quiet, I look at the clock and it’s almost ten in the evening, I didn’t think I had been at the packhouse that long, but with putting off a few days’ worth of responsibilities I had a lot of catching up to do. Arabella’s scent is coming from the bedroom so I wonder if she has already gone to bed, she did have a long day and pledging to a new pack prior to receiving a mate mark can be taxing on the body. I slip my shoes off and turn off the lights on the main floor and go upstairs feeling eager for tomorrow and hoping that all goes according to plan.
