Chapter 74 Scared To Love

• I came out of the bathroom and didn't find Clara in the room, for some minutes it wasn't bothering because, she might be somewhere wanting me to apologize for my actions which I wasn't going to. I was still mad with myself that I didn't kill Jack and my bodyguard when I had the chance to do so. I put on my short and jumped on the bed getting ready to sleep as I was so tired.
• For some reason, I wasn't able to sleep and all I did was think. I kept on remembering Jack's words. I swore to protect Clara with my life, even if I would die while protecting her. Unexpectedly, the door opened. I quickly closed my eyes, pretending to be asleep even though I knew it was Clara. A few seconds later, I felt a hand on my back, massaging gently. It was the best massage I have ever received, maybe because it was coming from the right person. I waited patiently for Clara to say something but she didn't, since she was mad at me.
• "I'm sorry" I muffled inaudibly, but was certain that Clara heard me even though the pillow covered parts of my mouth. Clara didn't respond, rather she continued with the massage and at this point, I became clueless on what to do. Suddenly, I started feeling unease. The cologne of the person wasn't Clara's, I was so foolish not to have noticed all this while. The hand began sliding into my pants, then It dawned on me that this wasn't a massage any longer, neither was it Clara.
