Chapter 60 Home Again

• Leo allowed me to leave after much work in trying to convince him. I made him see reasons as to why he mustn't and don't have to bother dropping me at home. He claimed to be scared about what happened the last time but I still insisted. He then decided to see me off, I hurriedly went to get some few things in my room with a small bag which I was going to carry. Some maids as usual tried provoking me by calling me a prostitute and an opportunist, but I ignored knowing full well that I wasn't any of that and they were just false accusations out of jealousy. While I was about to open the door, a maid popped out from no where and told me wash the dishes like other maids. I tried to explain to her that I needed to go somewhere but she insisted and other maids supported her. When I saw they weren't ready to understand neither were they ready to listen to me, I decided to open the door and leave but the maid standing beside the door was quick to notice my plan and immediately locked the door before I could get to it. She collected the bag and other things I was holding and threw it on the floor.
• "Do the dishes, after all you are also maid like us what make you an exception ugh? Or you think because you have now become Mr. Leo personal prostitute you don't have to work ugh? " One of the maid said but I didn't bother to find out who exactly said it, their actions and words are becoming unbearable and annoying. I looked at the dishes, they were quite many and would definitely take time if I washed them alone. When I inquired to know of I would get assistance, they were all quick to shout "No" Tears threatened to roll down my cheeks as I tried to fight back the tears. It was so painful that none of them could support me, just because they were all dying of jealousy. "Start washing now, other maids have been washing without help what makes you an exception?" My roommate said looking at me in the eye with a deadpan look. I didn't have any choice than to wash the plate, it was better than standing here and wasting my time while trying to make them see reasons with me as they were all adamant. "Personal Prostitute" They all began to laugh out loud. " From personal maid to personal prostitute" Another maid said. What more do they want, I was already doing the dishes and they are still calling me names. By now, I couldn't bear the insults any longer and tears began to roll down my cheeks uncontrollably.
• "Open the door" A familiar voice said with a frightening tone and all the maid froze, some tried to escape but they knew it wasn't possible as it would only make matters worse. The maid standing by the door took the courage to open the door and ended up getting hit on her forehead as Leo pushed the door forcefully. She deserved it, after all she was the one that locked the door at the first place. The moment I saw Leo walking towards me, the tears in my eyes increased and I began to cry out loud which made him run. " Are you okay? What's wrong? Did you get injured? " Leo asked looking for any injury around my body, when he was satisfied that there was none he hugged me tightly and apologized for not coming earlier. Leo turned on the tap and washed my hands before demanding for a hand towel from the maid standing close. After Leo wiped my hands, he threw the towel on the maid face and held my hand walking towards the door. This was unlike Leo, he wasn't punishing the maid neither did he shout at them. " You all want to know why she is an exception? Because she is my girlfriend and anybody that messes with my girl would suffer for it" Leo said immediately we got to the door, while I picked up my stuff which were on the floor. I noticed his guard and some other men were standing outside the kitchen already and I began to wonder the suffering Leo meant but I didn't bother to ask, they don't deserve my plea. " You know what to do" Leo said to his body guard and we left, heading to his room.
