Chapter 68 Scared To Love

• JACK'S POV
• Clara finally slept off in my room after crying for hours because she couldn't find the love of her life, for a second it seemed as if she was going to run mad. Leo entrusted her to me and I must do everything in my power to protect her and to make sure that she was absolutely fine. Aside from the fact that Leo entrusted her to me, I feel like there is something growing in my heart for Clara. I sat on the chair beside the bed where Clara was sleeping, I stared at her without taking my eyes off her for a second.
• Though she was asleep, sadness and pain still rested on her beautiful round face. Clara was really beautiful indeed, how did she end up with someone like Leo and not me, who treated her well from the beginning. Lot of thoughts and imaginations filled my head while I kept on staring at Clara. Leo's guard hadn't come to check up on her since yesterday and even this morning, it was as if he suddenly went missing after Leo left for China. I had just gotten up from the chair and was about to go and check up on Leo's guard when suddenly Clara made a slight turn and I stopped, hoping that she would wake up, but she didn't. Now she was even facing my direction; I sat down and kept on staring, my mind suddenly become at peace when I look at her.
