Chapter 66 Thd Mission

• Peace of mind is my utmost desire right now but it seems to be very far from me, rather restlessness filled my soul. I couldn't concentrate on anything. I couldn't doubt the fact that I was worried about Leo even though I was angry and scared of him at the moment, he looked terrified when his guard told him about his father, he might be in danger. I felt shiver running down my spine when I remembered him saying his father will hurt me. I laid on my bed with my arms placed on my forehead,sightly covering my eyes, while my leg were crossed in the air as I inhaled slowly before exhaling.
• "Wait! Leo's guard, he smirked when, when, something doesn't feel right about his smirk" I rose up from my bed and went to have my bath so I could just sleep and forget about everything for a while. While I was in the bathroom, I heard the door open which made my heart skip instantly. Silently, I prayed that it wasn't Leo, instead let it be Jack or my roommate. I purposely delayed my bathing and spent time allowing the water from the shower run from my hair, down to my body slowly with my eyes closed, the feeling was so refreshing. As far as I am consigned, I don't even mind sleeping in the bathroom as long as I don't see Leo, I am ready to endure. I didn't hear the sound of the door open again so the person was definitely still in the room, by now I must have spent an hour doing nothing and was tired of standing in the bathroom. "Leo must have definitely called out my name or probably try to break this door but why isn't he doing anything?" It occurred to me that it might not be Leo after all, so I built up enough courage to open the door and check who it was. I peeped into the room through the open space which I had created from opening the door a little bit, there was no sign of Leo in the room. I could literally see my bed from the bathroom, but I couldn't see my roommate's. Leo wasn't seated on my bed, it is either he is hiding somewhere or he is sitting on my roommate bed. I came out of the bathroom, tiptoeing towards my bed slowly only for me to turn and saw my roommate peacefully sleeping on her bed. I sighed loudly which made her slightly awake. "What are you doing to yourself Clara? What? You wasted your time, suffering yourself because you wanted to avoid Leo?" I whispered to myself, avoiding to wake my roommate up.
• After drying my hair I wore my pyjamas and laid on my bed to sleep, but I couldn't instead my eyes were fixed on the ceiling. The footsteps coming from the hallway suddenly got my attention, I could tell whose footsteps it was anytime and any day, it was Leo's. Leo was coming to my rooom. "Oh shit the door" I whispered, but before I could get up to lock it, the door knob turned. I was quick to face the other side of the room, and closed my eyes pretending to be asleep, hoping that my breath doesn't sell me out because I was breathing like someone who had been running and my heart pounding very fast because of fear. By now Leo was standing behind me, surprisingly he didn't even come close to me, he stood at my back for some minutes before running his hand around my face. In as much as I want to push his hands off my face, another side of me wanted that hand to keep doing what it was doing and hold me so tight.
