Chapter 44 PLANS TO ATTACK BLOOD MOON

• During the meeting I chose the able bodied men that were going to accompany me for the attack, while the rest were to work from a distance and others from the meeting room . The maps was duplicated and enough to go round for everybody to study from now till tomorrow. Some spies were also sent to the blood moon estate, they were to report tomorrow morning on how things went there over night and tomorrow morning. No doubt that tomorrow's attack was going to be a dangerous one because, majority of the Blood moon lives in the estate so once they find out about their presence, they wouldn't hesitate to attack from different angles. That's why I wanted to ensure that we go into the leader's mansion without a lot of them noticing. After I was done, someone reminded me of the young boys I was going to be training. "Tell them to meet me at the field in twenty minutes" I replied, getting up from my chair and headed to my car. I drove slowly to the field, taking time to look at the surrounding, nothing has changed since I left to live alone after killing my dad. When it seemed like old memories were about to flush in, I shook mg head quickly and increased my pace.
• By the time I got to the field, they were already there waiting for me. I noticed they were practising hand to hand combat among themselves and I smirked. At their age, I never wanted to learn all this, talk more of becoming a Mafia member nor leader. Dad had to force me in a hard way and sometimes I think killing mum was part of the hard way. His main motive was to make me hardhearted which worked the day he killed Elisa. They saw me and stopped what they were doing before greeting me. I restrained myself from smiling at their funny behavior. I trained them on how to shoot a gun, aiming their target perfectly without any mistake. Majority learnt fast and did well, while the rest had one problem or the other. I left them in the care of one of their trainers and left, giving them an instruction to keep on practicing. By the time I was heading back home, it was evening and everywhere was getting dark. I found myself passing the through the route to Early Height school, hoping to see Clara on the way but didn't until I got home.
• On getting home, I was welcomed by my guard who was sitting outside like he had been waiting for me to get back. I looked at him suspiciously while he walked towards me. " He must have something to tell me" I thought while coming down from my car. I got down from my car and handed the key to one of the chauffeur for him to park my car properly. " Sir one of the spies we sent reported that, the blood moon are hosting a masked party tomorrow and I also got this invitation letter about an hour ago" I collected the the letter from him and read the context. The Blood moon were inviting our Mafia for their masked party. It was quite strange and suspicious, I wondered why they were inviting us, they must have known our plan to attack them tomorrow and wanted us to fall into a trap they were probably setting. For all I know, some of their spies were our member, that would be the only way they got to know about our plan. While I was heading to my room, I was lost in my thoughts contemplating on whether we should still attack tomorrow or another day. But if we postponed the date, it will give them the chance to attack is first. I opened my door and entered my room, walking slowly to my bed. Immediately I got to my bed, I buried my face in my pillow and screamed, it was quite frustrating because nothing was coming to my head at the moment." Yes!" I screamed after an idea came flashed in my head suddenly. I jumped out to my bed to get my phone and tell my guard about the plan, but I froze for a second when I saw a womanly figure at the head of my room sweeping. I looked closer before I reacted. It was Clara, so I didn't shout or react the way I intended to instead, I began to wonder how she got into my room without my permission. Moreover, my room was locked when I wasn't around so there is no way she could get in during that time. I walked over to her trying to keep an angry face even though I wasn't angry.
