Chapter 17 Staring Contest (Continuation)

• LEO'S POV
• My legs were still crossed on the table, I was enjoying the quietness, I wished the whole school could be like this always. My eyes were closed as I thought about a lot of things. After few minutes, I heard footsteps that bugged me because they were so loud, I put down my leg which had been crossed on the table. Closing my eyes, I placed my hands on the table. All of a sudden, I couldn't hear the footstep again, it was quite suspicious and unusual, so I had to open my eyes to check it out, just incase I was being attacked.
• It was Jack, he stood like a tree, looking at me with fear, and to make matter worst, he was with the Clara girl again, I noticed he was holding her hands but when he saw me, he let go of her hand. Ever since she came to this school, Jack and I haven't spoken to each other. He was always avoiding me, even when I summoned for him the other time, he never came, I didn't bother to tell him anything. I expected them to move to another sit, probably in another corner because I was sitting where they had hoped to sit. As long as I don't give anybody the permission to come or sit close to me, they don't, not even my only friend, Jack.
