• I I woke up feeling relieved. The pain reliever I took had subdued the pain. After a few minutes of lying on the bed, with my eyes open, thinking about how lonely I had been for years, I heard some strange noise. It was definitely coming from my stomach. I picked up my phone to call Mrs. Kate.
• " Mrs. Kate, am I supposed to call before my food is brought?" I asked, looking at the clock to check the time. It was 9:30pm. I slept for a long time.
