Chapter 86 Eighty Six

• Lila just realised how popular Levi was as they walked in; different people kept standing up to talk to him, and he made sure to first introduce her to them before engaging them in any conversation whatsoever. Lila got tired of standing as she thought they would be sitting by then. She leaned into his ear and whispered. "I'll be in the washroom," she said before slipping away. She knew what they were speaking on, but she did not want to chime in, especially since they had not asked her to. She was glad to be away from the conversation and people at once. From the door of the room, she could tell that there was a group of girls in there, and from the sound of it, they were talking about someone.
• She got into the washroom and maybe the girls in there did not know she was the one but they seemed to be talking about her. "Talk about gold digger vibes," one of them said and the rest snickered.
• "I mean, she swore that she hated him but then went on to marry him." It was obvious that these girls thought they would be a better fit for Levi. They turned to her as she stood still, watching herself in the mirror, trying not to act as if she was bothered by what happened.
