Chapter 68 Sixty Eight

  • Eleanor was waiting at the front door for them with an angry expression on her face. As soon as they came down from the car and began to walk to her, she put her hand on her waist and threw the second hand in a finger wiggle at her daughter's face. She was so angry that she felt she might slap her daughter if she could not pull herself together. She took a deep breath before they stopped in front of her.
  • "Where did you go all day? I thought you would come to the hospital to see your father. Why didn't you think about being a good daughter? Why was all you thought about just being a bad child? What else is more important than your father? You put him in that position; shouldn't you at least try to check in with him?" The woman's words poured out without any compassion.
