Chapter 13 Thirteen

• She tried to peel her eyes off his body but the more she tried to look away, the more her eyes stuck. It was almost like filling up a basket with water. "Who knew he had such a good body?" she found herself murmuring and at that moment she could not help but scold herself. Why would she think of his body?
• She forced her heavy legs that wanted to stand there and watch him continue to flex the muscles but still, she could not bear the embarrassment that would follow him catching her doing it. He was just like any other vain heir who cared so much about their body. It made no sense to her why he would be exercising with the sun high in the sky after he had run that morning.
• She turned to the side, ready to escape before he could see her but as soon as she turned, she knew that her plan had failed. "Lila?" his voice called out to her.
