Chapter 107 One Hundred And Seven

• Lila arrived at her parent's manor; it was bringing back bad memories but she decided to push it aside. Her parents had brought her there that night because they wanted to make things different between them. If she was being difficult, then that would make her annoying and difficult to understand.
• She was sure that her father was going to ask all of the family to be there because, since he had been admitted to the hospital, they had stopped having the weekly family dinner, but she was thrown into a state of shock when she was the only one there. She wanted to call her sisters up to know why they were late or if they were not coming at all.
• "I did not invite them," Eleanor said as she hurried through the kitchen. Her attitude was weird to Lila because she had never seen her so invested in meal preparation before. She was tempted to ask her mother why, but seeing how she had responded to her action and based on her previous interactions with her mom, she swallowed the question and let it be. She just knew it was strange for her to have dinner alone with her parents since she had never been their favourite before now.
