Chapter 84 Eighty Four

  • Lila didn't want to be a part of her mom's little house business, but seeing that she had no choice, she adjusted. Within a few days, she was already getting along with the staff. They were on a lunch break, and since she did not know where she was supposed to stand in the house while working, she decided that it might be a good thing for her to eat with the staff instead of on the big dining table all alone.
  • "Working here is so fun." Lila rolled her eyes when she heard that. She could not believe that she was forced to hear that at least three times a day. "Don't you just love it?" All the staff spoke about was how lucky they were to work there, and she was getting tired of it. She raised her head to see one of the house staff standing there. She bowed her head to her, and Lila stood up to meet her.
  • "The lady of the house said I should bring you with me," she announced. Lila's eyebrow furrowed as she wondered what her mother wanted. She barely interacted with her while she worked at the manor.
