• “Found anything?” Shawn asked Theo when he walked up to him.
• “Nothing,” Theo shook his head. “Apart from the dead bodies, everywhere is as it used to be. There is no forced break-in or bullets lying around. I wonder how relaxed they must have all been for someone to sneak in without their notice and stab them to death.”
• Shawn nodded, walking around and inspecting everywhere. “With how quiet this estate usually is, it won’t be a surprise if they actually let their guards down. Try to find out if anything has been taken. I refused to believe that someone who did such a clean job didn’t see Susan escaping with Tyler. Either he needed them gone to do what he actually came for, or he did this to send a warning to the palace.”
