Chapter 62 Sixty Two

• Leo, Selina, Mary, and Joy all stood aside as the car pulled over. There was gloat written on all their faces. As Alicia stepped out of the car, a tiny smile was playing on their lips. Her eyes first went to Selina’s stomach, which was not showing yet, and instead of feeling the pain she thought she would when she saw them, Alicia found herself feeling grateful. Really, she was happy with the little trip of hers, and no matter what Shawn called their marriage, she was happy that he rescued her from their clutches.
• “The prodigal daughter has returned,” Mary said. “I thought you were good at running away. Why did you run back?”
• Alicia smiled, “Obviously, it’s to come and officially end things with your son. You see, my fiancé hates the fact that I am still connected to someone else. So, Leo, I took the trouble of getting the papers for us, and I have already put my signature. Feel free to sign it as soon as possible,” she pulled out some paperwork from her bag and handed it to Leo.
