Chapter 63 Sixty Three

• As Shawn thought about it more, he only got more confused. What was up with Alicia's tone? What was she getting at with her comments about being attracted to him? She seemed different on the call, almost impatient. At one point, he thought she was eager to end the call, so he made up an excuse about having something to do. But two minutes later, she called him back, insisting he drop whatever he was doing and talk to her. She kept going on about wanting to see him. On the one hand, it was flattering, but it was also unsettling. As her mate, she was supposed to be drawn to him, but she didn't know that yet. She didn't know about the bond, and she wouldn't until she let go of her connection to Leo.
