Chapter 25

• The morning came with the sunlight breaking in. they had spent the night together yet again, and Mason was already getting used to it. He glanced curiously at her but didn’t comment. She was still sleeping peacefully and looked so innocent from his angle.
• He had been rough on her yet again last night. What was wrong with him? He had tried to be cautious when it came to her and took things slowly. But this girl drove him crazy, and he couldn’t seem to keep it together whenever it came to her. He gently rubbed the back of his hands against her cheek, and that caused her to steer a little in her sleep. She was thrown fully aware when her phone started ringing loudly, disrupting the silence that seemed to overshadow her apartment.
• She sat up with her arms and slipped the phone out from her purse, which she threw on the floor yesterday before her nap.
