- Backstage before the show, Gunner wrung his hands while waiting patiently for his time to go on stage. Jackson and Zane noticed his serious expression as soon as they walked up to him.
- “You look a million miles away. What’s wrong, Gunny?”
- “She’s here. I feel her. She’s close.” Gunner’s eyes focused on the spot on the wall across from him. He looked almost intimidating in his stare.
