Chapter 61
- EWI headquarters - New York…
- Zane managed to convince Mr. Hargrove that Luna would be a perfect fit for heading the writing staff, in charge of a new segment. The position ensured she would be with Gunner almost daily. He was co-owner of the company since his divorce. He had started a reality segment of the show highlighting new talent, which would make Gunner Cain, Luna’s new boss.
- The revived on-show feud with Zane and Steve Steel was causing Gunner a lot of stress. Steven wanted to book a storyline for Zane to end his career so he could retire. Gunner hated to be the one to make the final decision to approve the fight. The tension he had been under was more than he could take some days. Being in charge of his part of the company was putting a huge weight on his shoulders and to book retirement matches only reminded him of his own age. He was co-owner of the company now and divorced for five years, but he wasn’t ready to lay down his boots yet.
