• Later that evening, Dawson, Zane, and Jackson went out to the local restaurant so Luna could rest quietly. Eric was determined to stay behind to watch over her, despite Gunner’s protest. He was very overprotective of his friends, and he was starting to feel a bond to Luna that the Alpha didn’t dare interrupt. They all needed this, not just him.
• Gunner was in his office talking on the phone with Mr. Hargrove about next week’s show when Eric snuck into the bedroom with a few boxes under his arm.
• “Hey, Luna, are you awake?”
