• Once they settled her on the couch Gunner introduced her to the Tribe as he made sure she was comfortable with everything she needed. It was almost creepy how much he was fussing over her.
• “Wow. You guys are a lot bigger in person,” she babbled feeling like she was floating on air to have been meeting them. Seeing all her favorite wrestlers in person almost made her forget how much pain she was in. “Mr. Haze, I wanted to tell you. I thought you were a wolf the night of the attack. Maybe because of the fact you sort of look like one if a wolf was a human. It’s cool actually. The wolf logo the Tribe uses to represent your friendship fits you all. Like you are sort of a wolfpack. You know? It would be cool for a logo if you guys team up on the show.”
• Dawson Haze smiled and winked at her in his laid-back country boy way. “Thanks, darlin’. Call me Dawson. I’ll take that as a compliment.”
