• Steven huffed in annoyance at his friend. “Sorry to say this, but her essence is so strong tonight. I smelled it looming through the air before she even walked in. You need to seal the deal, brother. Even the pack wolves are eyeing her. I have my Alpha bond with my wife to keep me in check, but not everyone at this party has a mate. You need to stay by her side tonight. I’ll have my warrior pack keep watch.”
