• Gunner entered the two-bedroom luxury suite later that day. He could hear Luna crying from the bedroom, and his heart sank. Sitting on the couch in the common area, he tried to figure out how to console her. He knew how hard it was when he first found out that he was a Lycan, but she was a human. It had to be so much harder for her. The world as she knew it had changed forever in just moments.
• Gunner knocked on the door. “Love, may I come in?”
• “No! Leave me alone.”
